Surrounded by an original trio of musicians (double bass, guitar and drums) called The Sound Outside, Sallie Ford released her first album at the age of 22. Dirty Radio makes a big impact, with its authentic rock underpinned by the singer's remarkable voice, at times reminiscent of a certain Janis Joplin. Sallie Ford and her band went from strength to strength with Untamed Beast in March 2013, quickly followed a year later by Slapback . Her successor will require a little more time - three years - and distance from her career - she splits from her band, The Sound Outside, and signs her most raging album, Soul Sick.
