Sandrine Nnanga grew up in southern Cameroon, where she was introduced to music through her church choir. While still performing in public, she was spotted by the Bantu groove group Macase after her A-levels, which she joined first to complete the backing vocals before becoming the lead singer. Alongside Merveille Tsang'Mbe and Léonie Nlanga, she performed with the group, making her mark on the stage and rubbing shoulders with prestigious names in the music world: Manu Dibango, André Manga, Danièle Eog... As she matured, she decided to strike out on her own while pursuing studies in accounting and marketing. She chose " Mulema" as her single to officially inaugurate this new artistic turn. The song features the singer's voice over a calmer production, accompanied by piano, drums and guitars. As Sandrine Nnanga's style matured with each new single, she unveiled her first album, Introduction, which confirmed her place on the Cameroonian music scene in 2020. The album seduces and attracts the curiosity of listeners, notably with audacious featurings such as "Tomber", sung in collaboration with her husband Adah Akenji. The latter, an important figure in the singer's career, is at the heart of the lyrics of a new single released in 2022, "Ton Feu", which attracts millions of listeners.
