Saori Nonaka, born Saori Fukumura on December 11, 1972, in Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture, is a distinguished enka singer in Japan. Her journey into the music industry began when she won the championship at the Star is You! Young Song Contest on TV Tokyo in December 1987. She made her debut on August 25, 1989, with the single "Yaranka" under Tokuma Japan Communications. Her career includes notable releases like "Hana sumire"(2022), "Bizen dayori" and "Seto no funayado"(2024) adding to her portfolio of traditional and contemporary enka music that has resonated with audiences over the decades.
