Sayuri

Sayuri, whose real name has not been publicised, is a Japanese pop singer who began writing songs while at school and started performing after she moved to Tokyo in 2013. Her debut single 'Crescent Moon' went to number 20 on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart and number 35 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100 in 2015. 'It Is Like a Small Light' (2016) reached numbers 17 and 15 respectively and 'Furaregai Girl' (2016), with Yojira Noda of RADWIMPS, went to numbers 17 and 22. Her 2017 debut album 'Mikazuki No Koukai' reached number three on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart and number four on Billboard's Japan Albums Chart. The singles 'Parallel Line' (2017), which features in the anime series 'Scum's Wish', and 'Tsuki to Hanataba' (2018), which is heard on the anime series 'Fate/Extra Last Encore', peaked at number ten on the Oricon singles chart and the Billboard Japan Hot 100. In 2018, she also collaborated with Dawn on the single 'Reimei', which went to number seven on the Oricon chart and ten on the Billboard Japan Hot 100. Her 2019 schedule was to include an appearance at a venue in Tokyo.
