The Scred Connexion was formed around Fabe and Koma in the Barbès district (18th arrondissement) of Paris. Their slogan "Never in the trend, but always in the right direction" sums up their state of mind. The discreet rappers want to distance rap from its supposedly commercial tendencies. Since Selexion 99/2000 in 2000, their first albums have enjoyed a limited audience. In 2009, Ni Vu Ni Connu (Neither Seen Nor Known ) showed a positive trend in terms of popularity, reaching number 33 in the album charts.
