Seo Ji-young (born June 2, 1981) is a South Korean former singer best known as a member of the popular co-ed K-pop group Sharp. Formed in 1998, Sharp released six albums, including hits like "The Four Letter Word Love" (2000) and "Style" (2002), before disbanding in 2002 amid controversy involving allegations of bullying by Seo against fellow member Lee Ji-hye. Despite the group's abrupt end, Sharp remains an iconic part of the early K-pop era. Seo Ji-young pursued a solo career after Sharp's disbandment, releasing two albums: Listen to My Heart (2005) and Different This Time (2007). Her singles, including "Stay in Me" and "Hey Boy," showcased her transition to a solo artist with a more personal musical style. However, she retired from the entertainment industry shortly after her second album.
