Born on July 22, 1986 in Leiden, Netherlands, Tabitha is a pop and R&B singer who first gained fame through posting videos on social media. Tabitha began writing songs at the age of 12 in order to deal with the death of her father. Along with her own compositions, she’d perform covers of songs by Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Drake. She then went into the studio to record her first song and decided to pursue music as a career. After being kicked out of public school, she auditioned at the Pop Academy for a chance at their musical education program. Once she was accepted, she became the first student to complete a four-year program in two years. She worked with several different labels and management companies before meeting singer, songwriter, and producer Timothy Bloom. She moved to London and released her first single, “Dear Summer”, in April 2016. She relocated for a short time in Los Angeles before making her way back to The Netherlands. Since she returned to her homeland, she released two EPs and scored hits with 2018’s “Hij Is Van Mij” (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam, Maan and Bizzey) and “Niet Alleen”. In 2019, Tabitha released the single “Hallo Met Mij”, which became a huge success. Called the most streamed female artist in The Netherlands, Tabitha finally released her debut album, Hallo Met Mij, in September 2020.
