Tahiti

Tahiti was a South Korean girl group, formed by Dream Star Entertainment in 2012. The group, originally a four-member ensemble, underwent several lineup changes during its active years. Tahiti debuted in 2012 with the single "Tonight." Before their official debut, Tahiti appeared on the reality program Ta-Dah! It's Tahiti, which was broadcast across various Asian countries. The show provided a platform for the group to gain early exposure. However, prior to their official launch, members Ari and Hanhee departed and were replaced by Ye Eun and Keezy. In the same debut year, Tahiti released their second single "Hasta Luego," which saw more lineup changes, introducing Jinhee, Miso, and Ari. The group continued to release music, including the single "Pretty Face" in December 2012. Tahiti's career further expanded in 2013 with their first overseas performance in the Philippines alongside prominent K-pop acts. They also released the OST single "Don’t Know, Don’t Know," followed by their first mini-album Five Beats of Hearts. 2014 witnessed another lineup change with Jungbin's departure due to health issues and the addition of Jerry. The group released the single "Oppa, You're Mine" in this period. The following year, Tahiti released their second mini-album Fall Into Temptation, landing in the Top 10 of the Oricon charts. Despite their ever-growing success, Tahiti's journey came to an end on July 25, 2018, when their disbandment was officially announced.
