Taste

The history of the Taste trio, founded in Cork, Ireland, in 1966, was as dazzling as it was successful, marked by the emergence of one of the most gifted guitarists of his generation, Rory Gallagher. It was to satisfy his desire for a solo career that Gallagher ended the band's adventure, after two albums of blues-rock, incorporating elements of folk, pop and even jazz on Taste and On the Boards, released back-to-back in 1969.
