The ATIC

The ATIC is a South Korean indie pop and rock band that blends electronic music with atmospheric storytelling. Formed in 2020, the group consists of Youngseong Moon (vocals), Seohyun Ahn (producer), Jeonghyun Park (guitar), Byungjun Yoon (bass), and Hyungseok Shim (drums). The band's name, derived from "Artificial," reflects their approach to music—an intentional fusion of different sounds and narratives that inspire them. The ATIC officially debuted on June 24, 2022, with their first single, "Lose Yourself", followed by their debut EP, The Beginning, in August of the same year. Their music incorporates a unique mix of indie rock, electronic, and pop influences, creating an immersive and cinematic soundscape. Notable releases include "By Your Side" (2023), "Lady" (2023), and "Insomnia" (2024), each showcasing their evolving musical identity. Under Local High Records, The ATIC continues to experiment with genre-defying compositions. Their recent releases, "Ocean Wave" (2024) and "Nebula" (2025), hint at further sonic exploration.
