The Dust Coda is an English hard rock band based in London. The group was formed in 2013 by the Australian duo of vocalist John Drake and guitarist Adam Mackie. Drummer Scott Miller and bassist Tony Ho joined the line-up shortly after. The band's journey began in 2016 with their EP The More It Fades, featuring songs such as the title track and "Sweet Love Is Gone." This initial offering helped The Dust Coda gain a steady following. They continued their growth with the independent release of a self-titled debut studio album in 2017. In 2020, The Dust Coda signed with Earache Records, leading to their track "Rock n Roll" being featured on the compilation Earache Presents: The New Wave of Rock n Roll. Mojo Skyline, their first album under Earache Records, debuted at Number 27 on the UK Albums Chart in 2021. This album included guest performances from renowned musicians like Tom Pinder, Gavin Fitzjohn, and Nick Nasmyth. Their music received airtime on Planet Rock radio, and they earned nominations for several awards, including Best New Band and Best British Album. The band's rising reputation was further bolstered when they were recognized at Planet Rock's The Rocks Awards. The Dust Coda continued their success in 2023 with the album Loco Paradise, which wasn't only acclaimed by fans but also reached Number 36 on the UK Albums Chart and topped the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart.
