The Green is a reggae band that originated from Oahu, Hawaii, and was formed in 2009. Comprising members Caleb Keolanui on lead vocals, Ikaika Antone on keyboards and vocals, JP Kennedy on guitar and vocals, Zion Thompson on guitar and vocals, Brad Watanabe on bass, keys, and vocals, and Jordan Espinoza on drums, the band has carved a niche for themselves in the reggae genre. Known for their harmonious blend of reggae roots with local Hawaiian musical influences, The Green has released several albums that have resonated with fans worldwide. Their debut self-titled album, The Green, released in 2010, immediately captured attention with hits like "Love I" and paved the way for their subsequent successes. Their follow-up albums, Ways & Means (2011) and Hawai‘i ’13 (2013), further established their place in the reggae music scene, featuring popular tracks like "Something About It" and "Power in the Words."
