Thundermother is a Swedish hard rock band that was founded in 2009 by guitarist Filippa Nässil in Växjö. The current line-up consists of Filippa Nässil (guitar), Linnéa Vikström (vocals), Majsan Lindberg (bass) and Joan Massing (drums). The band plays a mixture of hard rock, rock 'n' roll, heavy metal and blues rock. Their debut album Rock 'N' Roll Disaster was released in 2014, followed by Road Fever in 2015. The self-titled album Thundermother was released in 2018. The band reached number 6 in the German album charts with their fourth album Heat Wave (2020). Their fifth album Black and Gold was released in 2022 and once again reached the top ten in the German charts. In 2020, Thundermother won the Swedish Gaffa Award for "Best Hard Rock Act" and received the European Double Silver Impala Award. Thundermother returned in mid-February with Dirty & Devine. The album climbed to number 15 in Germany.
