Born Dennis Junior Odunwo in London, England, on September 1, 1993, Tion Wayne is a British rapper who began attracting attention in 2010 by posting his songs to social media and video-sharing platforms. He quickly built up an online fan base and released his first mixtape, Wayne's World, in 2014. This was followed by Wayne's World 2 in 2016 and Transition in 2017. Transition featured collaborations with several other artists, including the tracks “Lavish Living” with B Anca, “Figures” with Moelogo, “Bad B” with One Acen, and “Have You Ever” with Scorcher and Shak. He collaborated with NSG on the single “Options” in 2018, reaching Number 7 on the UK Singles Chart in 2019. A second top ten single followed in 2019 with “Keisha & Becky.” His track “Drive By” featuring Swarmz was issued in 2019 as the first single from his third LP T Wayne’s World 3, released later that year. The album reached Number 62 in the UK and spawned two more singles: “2/10” with One Acen and “2 On 2” with Jay1, which peaked at Number 53. In 2020, Tion Wayne scored a Top 10 hit with the standalone single “I Dunno” featuring Dutchavelli and Stormzy and then climbed to the top of the charts with the single “Body.” Featuring rapper Russ Millions, the song reached Number 1 in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Such success helped set the stage for his full-length debut, Green with Envy, which charted at Number 5 in the UK.
