Tito Double P

Tito Double P, born Roberto Laija in Culiacán, Sinaloa, is one of the leading figures in the Regional Mexican music scene. At just 26 years old, Tito made his mark as the principal composer for his cousin, Peso Pluma, crafting early hits like "El Belicón," "Siempre Pendientes," "PRC," and "AMG," which played a crucial role in Peso Pluma's rapid ascent to global fame. Initially hesitant to step into the spotlight, Tito Double P’s journey as an artist began in 2021 when Peso Pluma encouraged him to share his own music. Their collaboration on "El Belicón" became a breakthrough moment, hitting the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and confirming his talent. With the success of subsequent hits, Tito Double P embraced his new identity as a singer, debuting tracks like "Gavilán II" and "La People" from Peso Pluma's 2023 album Génesis, the latter of which earned him his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100. His deep, raspy voice and distinctive sound, characterized by trombone and accordion, have quickly set him apart in the competitive world of regional Mexican music. Signed to Double P Records, Tito Double P dropped his debut album INCÓMODO in 2024, whose guestlist included Natanael Cano, Luis R Conriquez, Junior H, Neton Vega, Los Dareyes de la Sierra, Grupo Frontera, Gabito Ballesteros, Eslabón Armado, Chino Pacas, Peso Pluma, and many more.
