South Korean boy band TO1 (Together as One) was assembled by the CNJ ENM entertainment company via the 2019 survival reality show To Be World Klass. Originally composed of a dozen members, the group consists of nine members: Donggeon, Chan, Jisu, Jaeyun, J. You, Kyungho, Daigo, Renta, and Yeojeong. Boasting a unique style that combines K-pop with hip-hop and R&B, the group made its official debut under the name TOO in 2020 with the mini-albums Reasons for Being: Benevolence and Running TOOgether, both of which cracked the Top 10 of South Korea's Circle Chart. In just a short period of time since its debut, TO1 managed to grow a substantial following both domestically and internationally and received the Rookie Award at the Soribada Best K-Music Awards in mid-2020. In 2021, following a series of legal disputes with their label, they re-emerged as TO1 and delivered the EPs Re:Born and Re:alize, which contained the Top 5 hit single "Mirage." Preceded by the track "Drummin'," Why Not??, their third EP as TO1, saw the light in 2022 and peaked at Number 11 in South Korea and Number 30 in Japan.
