Tzuyu

Tzuyu, also known as Chou Tzu-yu, is a Taiwanese singer based in South Korea who was born on June 14, 1999, in the East District of Tainan, Taiwan. She was discovered by talent scouts at the Muse Performing Arts Workshop in Tainan in 2012 and moved to South Korea later that year to begin training. In 2015, she participated in the reality television show Sixteen and was one of nine successful participants who went on to join the newly formed girl group Twice. She officially debuted as a member of Twice with the release of their first extended play, The Story Begins, in October 2015. Tzuyu has worked as a presenter on multiple South Korean music television shows and has released covers of "Me!" by Taylor Swift and "Christmas Without You" by Ava Max as part of the Melody Project series. On September 6, 2024, Tzuyu made her solo debut with the release of the extended play, abouTZU.
