A popular playbook singer who worked primarily in the Telugu language films produced in Bollywood, Vedala Hemachandra was born Jun 2, 1988 in Hyderbad, India. Taking the example of his mother, a talented singer, he began to perform and landed his first job singing in film while still a teenager. In 2007 he made his Telugu language debut as a singer with “Niluvave” in Lakshyam. He was soon working in multiple films a year for 2009’s Ride he began a side career as the music director for films. Vedala Hemachandra continued to work steadily as a singer in movies and becoming known for songs like 2010’s “Pileche Pedavula Paina”, 2016’s “Emito Es Kshanam”, and 2020’s College Song”. In 2017 he founded his own social media stream where he released his own compositions and performances. In 2021 he performance of “Dosti” in the historical drama RRR brought him to the lower rungs of the Indian pop charts.
