WHITE SCORPION is a Japanese female idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto, formed on October 7, 2023, following the IDOL3.0 PROJECT that began in April of the same year. The members are ACE, ACO, ALLY, AOI, CHOCO, COCO, HANNA, MOMO, NATSU, NAVI and NICO. The debut lineup consists of 11 members who were announced on the same day. The group's concept merges traditional "real" idol activities like concerts and handshake events with innovative "virtual" activities, utilizing Web3.0 technologies such as the metaverse and NFTs.The name WHITE SCORPION symbolizes the group's aspiration to embody purity and sincerity (WHITE) alongside strength (SCORPION). On October 27, a teaser site for their official web page went live, leading up to the full launch on November 7, which featured the unveiling of new visuals and individual artist names for the members. Their debut single "Manazashi Sniper" was released on December 7 2023 by KING RECORDS. On December 17, the group became special ambassadors for the blockchain game "SNPIT," involving a limited-edition collaborative camera NFT release and sales. Their notable releases are "Satisfaction graffiti" (2024), and "Caution" (2024).
