Yasunobu Yamashita, a singer-songwriter from Fukuoka City, Fukuoka, Japan, began his music journey influenced by his father, who also had a background in music. Yamashita started playing the acoustic guitar at the age of 17 and has since been active mainly in the Kanto region. In November 2005, Yamashita formed the guitar duo "Peace." He achieved his major debut on July 4, 2007, with the release of the single "Cinema Dream" under Yamaha Music Communications, followed by additional singles and albums. In June 2009, the duo disbanded, marking a temporary pause in his music activities. He returned to the music scene in May 2014, forming another guitar duo called "Brother Tops." July 2016 saw the brief formation of "Peace As Delivery Hz," releasing the EP To a World Without Sadness digitally. In July 2023, Yamashita resumed his live performances as a solo artist after a 14-year break, releasing his first solo single under his own name, "Shine Road," on July 11, 2023. His notable performances included appearing on Fuji TV NEXT's Odaiba Folk Village NEXT in August 2023. He released his first solo single "Merry Christmas" digitally on November 4, 2023. In December 2023, "Brother Tops" performed live, their first show in nine years. In 2024, he continued to release new music, including his first double A-side single "Wadachi / Hizuki" in April, followed by the single "Horizon" in July.
