Yena

First entering the spotlight as a member of the 12-person K-pop troupe Iz*One – who formed on Mnet's reality girl group survival show Produce 48 and were together for two and a half years – Yena launched her solo career in January 2022. Born Choi Ye-na (Korean: 최예나) on 29 September 1999 in Gil-Dong, Gangdong, Seoul, South Korea, she trained with Polaris Entertainment before finding a home with Yuehua Entertainment and Iz*One, who released the group's debut EP, Color*Iz, in October 2018. They dropped two full-length albums before disbanding in April 2021 and from that point onwards, Yena began working on her solo career. 2022 marked the beginning of her solo journey with her debut EP Smiley, which was released via by Yuehua Entertainment and contained tracks including "Before Anyone Else," "Pretty Boys" and the title track featuring Bibi. January 2024 saw the release of her third EP Good Morning, which was preceded by the June single “Hate XX" and the Japanese version of Smiley in August, which formed the catalyst for her Japanese solo career.
