Yungeen Ace

Yungeen Ace, born Keyanta Bullard on 12 February 1998 in Chicago, Illinois, is a well-known US rapper and songwriter who scored a noteworthy hit in 2019 with "Opps." Raised in Jacksonville, Florida, he kicked off his rap career in 2017 as part of the hip-hop crew Yungeen Gang before stepping out with his debut solo single later that year. "No Witness" quickly established him as a rising star worthy of mainstream attention, and he continued to make his presence known with the release of his debut mixtape the following August. Life of Betrayal arrived in the wake of a mass shooting in Jackonsville's Town Center Parkway in which Yungeen Ace was shot eight times and hospitalised. He was later arrested for violating his 2017 probation for an accessory charge. His second mixtape, Life I'm Livin, arrived towards the end of 2018 and he broke into the Billboard 200 charts the following year with Can't Speak on It, a collaborative mixtape with JayDaYoungan, which gave him a gold-certified hit in "Opps." 2019's solo mixtape Step Harder also entered the Billboard 200 chart at 81. Released in 2021, his debut studio album Life of Betrayal 2x grazed the same chart at 119 but subsequent albums (2022's All on Me and Survivor of the Trenches) failed to chart. However, the release of the 2024 single "Game Over" garnered fresh interest in Yungee Ace, landing him the number 40 spot on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song chart.
