Born on September 16th, 1989, in Tottori prefecture, Japanese singer-songwriter Yuta Orisaka spent his early years at school in Russia before moving to Japan's Chiba prefecture. It was during high school that he first began experimenting with music, forming a band before stepping out to perform his own piece in 2013. The performance encouraged him to pursue his passion further and he issued hie first self-produced mini-album, Akebono, the following year, inaugurating his new Noroshi Record label with Aya Matsui and Yakuichi Yaku. 2016 saw the arrival of his first full-length album, the independently released Tamuke, and his second full-length album Heisei was released in 2018. The LP picked up two accolades, named best Japanese rock album by the country's Music Magazine that year and also honoured at the 11th CD Shop Awards in March 2019. Shortly after he began expanding his repertoire to include film work, contributing the theme tune for the Fuji TV-based Monday 9 o'clock drama Kansatsui Asagao starring Juri Ueno. He dropped a new mini-album, Morning Glory, in March 2021, and that October released his third album Psychology, his first album in three years.
