Zeynep Bastık

Born on July 8th, 1993 in Çanakkale, Turkey, Zeynep Bastık is a Turkish singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor who got her start in dance group Fire of Anatolia before kicking her professional music career into gear with the İzmir-originating band Jackpot. She performed with the group – who specialised in cover songs – until 2012, later splintering off to work as a backing vocalist for Murat Dalkılıç. She released her first, Murat Dalkılıç-assisted single "Fırça" in 2014. Three years later, she made another stop on her solo musical journey with the single "Şahaneyim", which was composed by Murat Dalkılıç and Caner Yemez. She followed this with a slew of acting roles, including spots on TV shows Adı Mutluluk, Yasak Elma, and Sil Baştan. In June 2019, she released a single with Anıl Piyancı, "Bırakman Doğru Mu?". 2020 saw the release of her solo debut album, Zeynodisco, with five new singles arriving in 2021: "Kendi Yolumuzda", "Bana Sorma" (from Zeynodisco), "Marlon Brando", "Sen Ben", "Yalan".
