Alemán, born Erick Raúl Alemán Ramírez on February 20, 1990, in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, began his career in the mid-2000s as part of the group Doble Rima before going solo and joining Homegrown Mafia in 2014. His debut album Pase de Abordar (2014) set the stage for his rise in Mexico’s rap scene, followed by Rolemos Otro (2016), which helped him develop his signature sound blending classic rap with modern trap influences. His breakout moment came with Eclipse (2018), featuring collaborations with C. Tangana, Kidd Keo, and Akapellah, and solidifying his reputation across Latin America and Spain. Alemán continued his success with the Humo en la Trampa trilogy (2019–2021), delving deeper into trap and street narratives, while Huracán (2021) expanded his reach with features from Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, and Santa Fe Klan. In 2023, he returned with Haciéndolo Fino, and in 2024, he released the EP Confesiones and RichMafia V1, recorded alongside Gera MX.
