Alfa Rococo

Alfa Rococo is a Quebec musical duo made up of Justine Laberge and David Bussières. The group was formed in 2004, after Justine and David met at an electronic music concert. They began playing together using both electronic and acoustic instruments, creating their own musical style that blends elements of electronic, pop and folk music. Alfa Rococo's debut album, Lever l'Ancre, was released in 2007. The album was well received by critics, and helped the band establish their reputation on the French music scene. The single "Les jours de pluie" is a big hit in Quebec, reaching number one in the radio charts. In 2008, the band won the Félix award for pop album of the year. Alfa Rococo's second album, Chasser le Malheur, is released in 2010. The album reaches number two in the Quebec charts, and the singles "Jusqu'au bout" and "Lumière " are radio hits. In 2014, Alfa Rococo releases its third album, Nos Coeurs Ensemble, recorded in part in Paris. The album is nominated for the Félix award for pop album of the year. In 2018, they release their fourth album, L'Amour et le Chaos. The duo is nominated at the ADISQ Gala in the "Group of the Year" category that same year. Since 2019, the group has released further singles such as "Les choses invisibles" and "Du Soleil à Pékin".
