Miriam Audrey Hannah (born May 4, 1982 in Saarbrücken, Germany), known as Audrey Hannah, is a German-Canadian singer-songwriter, dancer and presenter. Growing up in a musical household, she began singing and dancing lessons at an early age. Graduating as a ballerina, Hannah was offered the opportunity to present children’s program Das Ding, signing with Edel Records in 1999 and released her debut Christmas track “It’s December (And I’ll Be Missing You)” which peaked at number 27 on the German charts. Her subsequent singles “Waiting For…(Serenade of Love)” (2000) and “Liquid Touch” (2002) either did not chart or failed to reach the top 50 and after her album was shelved by the record company, Hannah announced a hiatus from performing, returning to her former career; presenting Big FM radio program Miri’s Promi-Ecke and moderating the weekly televised drawing of the German lottery with fellow presenter Chris Fleischhauer.
