Blessd

Stiven Mesa Londoño (January 27, 2000) is a Colombian rapper and Latin urban artist who performs under the stage name Blessd. Born in Itagüí, Antioquia, he started competing in freestyle battles at the age of 15 in Bogotá and later worked with his father selling fruits and vegetables to fund his first couple of recordings, which he usually shared via WhatsApp. Even though he started as a rapper, he pivoted to reggaeton at the suggestion of frequent collaborator Lil Jay, who produced his first viral single "Una" in 2019. After landing a deal with JM World Music, Blessd made his major-label debut in 2020 with the radio hit single "Viernes Social," followed by his first charting single "Lejanía" with Ryan Castro. In 2021, he issued the song "Imposible," whose success prompted Latin superstar Maluma to participate in a remix that peaked at number 64 in Colombia. Preceded by the chart-topping single "Medallo" featuring Justin Quiles and Lenny Tavarez, his studio debut and breakthrough album Hecho en Medellín appeared later that year and was promoted through an extensive tour throughout the US, Europe, and Latin America. His winning streak continued into 2002 thanks to well-received singles such as "Quien TV" with Ryan Castro and "Tendencia Global" with Myke Towers. The latter was included in his second full-length, 2022's Siempre Blessd, which reached number 51 on the Spanish charts. Two years later, Blessd returned with Si Sabe, a 14-track LP that featured contributions from Feid, SOG, Peso Pluma, Ryan Castro, Bryant Myers, Hades66, Jory Boy, YOVNGCHIMI, Pirlo, and NLE Choppa. BlessDeluxury, Blessd's second release of 2024, arrived in May of that year, followed by Maluma split EP 1 of 1 and the non-album single "Casi Algo," a collaborative track with producer Ovy on the Drums that went to number 21 in Colombia.
