Charles Ans

Carlos Miguel Segura Ramírez, known professionally as Charles Ans, is a Mexican rapper and songwriter born on March 24, 1991, in Hermosillo, Sonora. He began his musical journey at the age of 15, performing at open mic events in his hometown. After moving to Guadalajara, he co-founded the group Anestesia, which helped him gain initial recognition. Charles Ans is renowned for his introspective and bohemian lyrical style, focusing on the positive aspects of life rather than the hardships. His discography includes notable albums such as Smile (2014), Ataraxia (2016), Sui Géneris (2018), and El Desierto También Da Flores (2019). In 2021, he released Los Raros Del Salón, a project that emerged from a musical retreat, followed by ¿Cómo Terminamos Aquí? later that year. Continuing his prolific output, Charles Ans released Máscaras in 2023, Serendipia in 2024, and De Brujas y Otros Hábitos in 2025, further solidifying his position in the Mexican hip-hop scene. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists like Gera MX, Nanpa Básico, and MC Davo, and has performed at major festivals such as Vive Latino and Nomadx.
