Cherry Filter, a South Korean rock group formed in 1997, is known for their distinctive blend of emotional ballads, punk rock, rave, and trance elements, particularly showcased in their recent albums. They gained significant attention with their song "Romantic Cat" from the album Made In Korea (2002). The band's name, as explained by vocalist Cho Youjeen in an interview, symbolizes a mix of femininity and masculinity—the cherry representing femininity and the filter, masculinity. The lineup includes Cho Youjeen as the lead vocalist, who had a brief solo stint in Japan, Jojinbo on guitar, Yaenhead on bass, and Sonstar on drums.
