Shin Dong-woo, known by his stage name CNU, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer, and actor, born on June 16, 1991, in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. He developed a passion for music early in life, forming a rock band during high school with his friend Jooyoung. CNU later honed his craft at Hanyang University, studying in the Department of Theater and Film. CNU debuted as a member of the boy group B1A4 on April 15, 2011, serving as a vocalist and rapper. The group gained recognition with their debut EP Let’s Fly and lead single "OK," followed by a string of successful albums and EPs that solidified their place in the K-pop industry. Over the years, CNU has actively contributed to B1A4’s music while showcasing his versatility as a performer. As an actor, CNU appeared in the KBS sitcom Sent from Heaven in 2012 and has contributed to several drama soundtracks, including songs such as "The Way to Find Love" in Cinderella with Four Knights (2016), "No Problem" in Prison Playbook (2018), and "Fly Away" in Ghost Doctor (2022). In 2022, he held his solo fan meeting, 2022 B1A4 BANA – HAPPY CNU DAY.
