Dämmerland

Dämmerland is a music project founded in 2024 and initiated by Malte Hoyer, the singer of the folk rock band Versengold. Together with Hannes Braun, the singer of the hard rock band Kissin' Dynamite, and Annie Hurdy Gurdy, a former member of Eluveitie, they have created a cross-genre concept that combines music and radio play. Their sound combines folk rock with elements of fantasy and medieval music, supported by contributions from over 30 guest musicians, including members of Subway to Sally, Lord of the Lost and Saltatio Mortis. The debut album Dämmerland will be released on November 22, 2024 and includes the previously released singles "Verlorene Träume", "Alles hat eine Geschichte" and "Was muss, das muss". The latter was created in collaboration with the band Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen. In addition to the music, the project also stands for an expanded universe that revolves around fantasy stories
