Daniela Alfinito, who was born on 11 March 1971 in Villingen-Schwenningen—a city in the Schwarzwald-Baar district of southern Baden-Württemberg, Germany—is a famous schlager singer who cut her showbiz teeth at the age of seven, first performing on stage with her musician father (Die Amigos' singer Bernd Ulrich) and uncle. She began regularly performing with the pair in 2000 before developing the skills and confidence to step out independently in 2003. With assistance from her father and uncle, she started working on her debut album and debuted as Daniela that year with Ich vermisse Dich nicht … She went on to build on her repertoire across a number of hit albums, including top-five LPs Ein bisschen sterben (2015) and Sag mir wo bist du (2017), while she was simultaneously working as a geriatric nurse. Beginning with 2019 offering Du warst jede Träne wert, she scored five consecutive number one LPs, with 2020's Liebes-Tattoo becoming her second German chart-topper as well as marking the first time she went number one in Austria and Switzerland. She sailed to the top of the charts again in 2023 with Frei und grenzenlos.
