DXTEEN

DXTeen is a Japanese boy band formed in 2023 under Lapone Entertainment. The group is made up of six members: Taichi Taniguchi, Ayuta Fukuda, Koshin Terao, Nalu Okubo, Ken Hiramoto, and Shotaro Tanaka. Unlike other groups managed by Lapone, they were not created through a survival show. Taichi Taniguchi was previously a trainee at n.CH Entertainment and competed in World Klass in 2019. Other members, Fukuda, Hiramoto, Terao, and Okubo, participated in Produce 101 Japan Season 2. DXTeen debuted on May 10, 2023, with the single "Brand New Day" and performed at KCON 2023 Japan shortly after. They also hosted a special radio program, DXTeen's Hello Talk! In July 2023, they became ambassadors for Enoshima's Higashihama Beach, where their song "Dive" was designated as the official song. Around this time, the group won the MTV Video Music Awards Japan for Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group in 2023. Their second single, "First Flight," released on September 6, included a Korean version, marking their debut in South Korea. In 2024, DXTeen embarked on their first tour, 1st One Man Live Tour Start of Quest, across Japan, coinciding with the release of their debut album Quest (2024), which peaked at number 5 on the Oricon charts. Their third single, "Snowin'," topped the charts in early 2024.
