FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE are a J-pop dance and vocal group formed by entertainment company LDH in 2016. Led by EXILE members Sekai and Sato Taiki, the group’s lineup was slowly unveiled through TBS’ Weekly Exile show. After recruiting 5 members from the dance crew Exile Generations (Natsuki Sawamoto, Leiya Seguchi, Natsuki Hori, Keito Kimura, and Shota Nakao), as well as vocalists Yusei Yagi and Sota Nakajima, the group was officially announced as part of the Exile Tribe collective and made their debut with the track "Over Drive" in late 2018. Dedicated to Shota Nakao, who had passed away from gastric cancer a few months earlier, their first single reached number 3 on the Oricon Chart and was followed by other Top 5 entries such as "Flying Fish," "Dear Destiny," and "Time Camera," all included in their 2020 studio debut Fantastic 9. After canceling their second tour due to the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE participated in a series of live-streamed concerts and teased the release of their sophomore album through the singles "Hey,darlin," "Winding Road -Mirai e-," and "High Fever," which was used as the theme song for the TV drama Mannequin Night Fever. Fantastic Voyage, their second studio effort, arrived in 2021 and bowed at number 8 on the Japanese Albums Chart. That same year, the non-album single “Each Other’s Way (Tabi No Tochu)” peaked at number 58 on Billboard Japan’s Top 100. In 2023, their third studio LP titled Fantastic Rocket hit number 2 in Japan thanks to the Top 10 entries "Santa Monica Lollipop," "Escape," "Panorama Jet," and "Tell Me." Peppermint Yum, the group's first EP, topped the Japanese charts upon its release in March 2024.
