Taelor Deitcher (known as Felix Cartal), born on April 9, 1987, in New Westminster, British Columbia, is a Canadian DJ and electronic dance music producer. He made his debut with the release of his first EP, titled Skeleton, in 2009, shortly after signing with Dim Mak Records, followed by full-length albums, Popular Music in 2010 and Different Faces in 2012, with the latter notably debuted on the Top 10 Electronic charts in North America. In 2015, Cartal inked a deal with Universal Canada and unveiled two singles, "With You" and "Something To Live For." March 2017 saw the release of "Get What You Give," a remix cover of the New Radicals song, which earned him his first certified Gold Record. The track reached the number 3 spot on the Canadian charts and number 24 on the US Dance charts. May 2018 saw the release of third studio album, titled Next Season, which garnered positive reviews from critics and in June 2021, Felix Cartal dropped his fourth studio album, Expensive Sounds for Nice People. This release was preceded by platinum-certified singles such as "Love Me" (featuring Lights), charting at number 5, and "Mine" (featuring Sophie Simmons), charting at number 4. In 2023, Felix Cartal returned with non-album singles, "Love You More" (featuring Daya), which reached number 22 on the Canadian Top 40 charts, and "Need Your Love," which charted at number 40.
