Julien Aberi Moska, rapper Fresh, also known as Fresh la Peufra, was born in Liège, Belgium, on January 16, 1997. The artist, whose family originates from the Democratic Republic of Congo, grew up near Ans. As a teenager, he began rapping, releasing his first single, "LG c'est Dallas" in 2015, at the age of 18, followed by "En bas" four years later. A member of the Iceberg Click collective, he was selected in 2022 to take part in Nouvelle École, the French-language adaptation of Netflix series Rhythm + Flow. He won the final with the track "Chop" which saw his popularity skyrocket on social networks, leading to a contract with the Believe label. In 2022, he released his first EP, Bientôt à l'Abri, featuring "Chop" as well as "Drama Queen". Shortly afterwards, he released his debut studio album, À l'Abri, which quickly reached number 5 in the French charts, featuring contributions from Niska, SCH and Shay, from the Nouvelle École individual competition. In March 2024, he released the mixtape P.M.R. (Power, Money, Respect), featuring the singles "Fumar Mata" (featuring Gotti Maras) and "Problem".
