A baritone singer specializing in early music, Italy's Furio Zanasi has performed his art at major festivals under the direction of conductors such as René Jacobs, Jordi Savall, Christopher Hogwood and Ton Koopman. Revealed by his role as Marcello in La Bohême in 1987, Furio Zanasi has distinguished himself in recordings of Cantatas and St. Luke's Passion by J.S. Bach, and Vivaldi's opera Armida in 2010.
