Gülçin Ergül is a Turkish singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress. She was born on October 30, 1985, in the city of Istanbul. She got her start in music by studying piano at Pera Fine Arts Academy, which led to joining the Atatürk Cultural Center State Opera and Children's Ballet Company. After graduating from the Modern Dance Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, she formed the band Hepsi along with Cemre Kemer, Yasemin Yürük, and Eren Bakici. Gülçin Ergül became the lead singer of the group, which gained notoriety in the local scene for their R&B-inflected music style. With Hepsi, Gülçin Ergül released four albums: Bir (2005), Hepsi 2 (2006), and Şaka (10+1) (2008). Notably, over the course of her tenure with Hepsi, the band collaborated with soft drink brand Pepsi as spokespeople and even starred in their own soap opera on ATV Turkey. In 2009, she left Hepsi to start a solo career, releasing her first solo mini-album titled Bravo in 2011. Her song "Ara Ara" made it to the top of the Turkish Billboard charts. Gülçin Ergül went on to perform various jingles for companies such as Pepsi, Star TV, Radyo Fenomen, and Avon. In 2018, Gülçin Ergül released the concept album Arabesk, a project that paired traditional Arabesque instrumentals with more modern vocal melodies. The following year, she performed on the soundtrack to the film Who's Happier (2019). In 2020, she released Davet, followed by Invitation in 2021. 2023 saw the release of the mini-album Drama Queen, which cracked the Top 100 of the Turkish streaming charts.
