Despite having achieved international success through modelling, Singaporean model, actress, athlete, and singer Iman Fandi (May 18, 2000) forayed into music relatively late into her life. The only daughter of iconic footballer Fandi Ahmad and South African model Wendy Jacobs, Fandi ventured into modelling when she was just 14 years old, winning two titles at the 2014 TNP New Face competition right off the bat. In 2017, she took a sabbatical from her studies to work as a part-time hairdresser and took on modelling gigs around the globe. Throughout her career, she has been on the cover of such reputed fashion magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, Female Magazine, and ELLE Singapore. In 2020, she made her official singing debut on the coronavirus pandemic-inspired single “Stay Home,” alongside Abangsapau, Aisyah Aziz, Alyph, and Charlie Lim. “Timeframe,” her proper debut single arrived in 2021 and reached Number 29 on Singapore’s streaming charts.
