Ina Regen, real name Regina Mallinger, was born on September 29, 1984 in Grieskirchen, Austria. The singer-songwriter is one of the country's most successful pop artists and first attracted attention in 2017 with her ballad "Wie a Kind", which made it into the Austrian singles charts. Ina Regen studied jazz and pop singing and initially worked as a musical actress and backing singer before launching her solo career. Her debut album Klee was released in 2018 and became a number 1 hit in Austria. The second album Rot follows in 2021 and earns her another number 1 in her home country as well as an Amadeus Austrian Music Award. in 2023, she released her third studio album Fast wie Radlfahrn. Her music moves between pop and Schlager and is characterized by emotional lyrics and clear melodies. Ina Regen also collaborates with other artists, including Conchita Wurst and Garish, and remains a formative figure in the Austrian music scene. In early 2024, the album Was ma heut net träumen is released together with the Tonkünstler Orchestra. It becomes Ina Regen's third number 1 album in the Austrian charts.
