Isha

Isha, whose real name is Isha Pilipili, is a Belgian rapper born on June 2, 1986 in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Belgium. He began rapping with the collective L'Agency under the pseudonym Psmaker, with whom he released his first solo project Vas-Y Chante in 2008. Despite the success of the album, he stepped back from the music scene due to a lack of commercial recognition. Moving to France, he witnessed the rise of Belgian rap figures such as Hamza, Damso and Caballero & JeanJass, which motivated him to take up the mike again. In 2017, he released the EP La Vie Augmente, marking a remarkable comeback and initiating an introspective triptych. In 2022, he unveils his debut album Labrador Bleu, a tribute to his brother who died three years earlier, with collaborations from OG Gold, Green Montana, Caballero & JeanJass, and Limsa d'Aulnay. In 2023, Isha teamed up with Limsa d'Aulnay for the joint album Bitume Caviar (Vol. 1), which received a warm critical reception. The project earned them the Flamme for Album Cover of the Year in 2024. At the same time, Isha pursues her solo career, exploring introspective and social themes through a sincere pen and sounds that blend classic and modern rap.
