Jacques Fabbri

Comedian, director, actor and storyteller Jacques Fabbri was born in Paris on July 4, 1925. He began his career on the stage in 1948, in Marcel Aymé's play Lucienne et le Boucher. Between 1948 and 1995, he appeared in dozens of plays and films. In 1957, he released the EP Chante Raymond Queneau. In 1964, he released Jacques Fabbri chante, an album of humorous songs including "ah! la campagne " and "Le dinosaure". But Jacques Fabbri's discography contains mostly tales and plays, and he lends his voice to plays by Molière and fables by La Fontaine, as well as to readings of fairy tales, notably "Le petit Chaperon Rouge", "Peau d'Âne " and "La Belle au Bois Dormant". Jacques Fabbri died on December 24, 1997 in Calvados.
