Jang Myung Sun

Jang Myung Sun is a South Korean musician born in 1994 in Ansan, South Korea. She began her music career in 2014 as a folk musician but later changed her genre to electronic music after being inspired by a performance from Lee Moon. Jang Myung Sun learned electronic music from Kirara and released her first studio album, A Premature and Meanless Confession (이르고 무의미한 고백) on December 7, 2018. The album received critical acclaim for its calm synthesizers and flashing glitch effects and was even nominated for Best Dance & Electronic Album at the 2020 Korean Music Awards. In 2020, Jang Myung Sun released an EP titled Dear My Ghost Sibling : Come, I Swallowed All Sorrows (나의 유령 자매에게 : 이리 와, 내가 모든 슬픔을 삼켰어). She has also been working on a new studio album, which was released in 2023. Fans got a sneak peek of the new album when she performed the track "Nature Is You" on Naver Onstage. Jang Myung Sun has also collaborated with other musicians in the indie project Musician Sports Club alongside Xeuda, Yeram, Yoonsung, Jungwoo, and Cacophony. Her second studio album, Angel's Share (천사의 몫), was released on November 3.
