Jasiel Nuñez is a singer-songwriter from Guadalajara, Mexico, who has quickly become a prominent figure in the world of corridos tumbados. Inspired by Ariel Camacho, he began making music at the age of 15 following a period of depression. His journey started with a video of himself singing, which went viral on social media and motivated him to pursue music seriously, learning guitar and honing his songwriting skills. With musical talent that he credits to his musician great-grandparents, Jasiel Nuñez released his debut album, Vueltas de la Vida, in 2020. In 2023, he gained further recognition as the first artist signed to Peso Pluma’s Double P Records, solidifying his status with standout singles such as “Vibras,” “EPA,” “Qué Loco Es,” and “Nos Entendemos.” Jasiel Nuñez collaborated with Peso Pluma on the hit tracks “Lagunas” and “Rosa Pastel,” both featured on the Génesis album and performed live during major events like the U.S. tour, the Foro Sol, and Arre Festival. Additionally, he has worked with Junior H, Yng Lvcas, and Dannylux, showcasing his versatility and expanding his reach in the regional Mexican music scene. In 2024, he released his second full-length La Odisea, a double album featuring contributions from Adriel Favela, Peso Pluma, Luis R Conriquez, Alemán, Tito Double P, DannyLux, Ramón Vega, Eslabón Armado, and Junior H.
