Jessica Marquez first appeared on reality TV as a contestant on Popstars and then Star Academy, before making her debut with À Fleur De Peau in 2003. This first album and the hits "Si fragile" and " Maria Magdalena " seemed to roll out the red carpet for the young woman's career. In disagreement with Universal, Jessica Marquez soon stumbled and saw her new album projects aborted. The track "On s'abîme" gave her renewed hope in 2007, before "Conne d'amour" reached number nine in the iTunes singles chart in 2012.
