Jordan Adetunji, born on February 25, 1999, in Croydon, South London, is a Northern Irish rapper and singer. At age 10, he moved with his family to Belfast, Northern Ireland, drawn by the city's quieter atmosphere. Of Nigerian descent, he attended Ashfield Boys' High School, the alma mater of guitarist Gary Moore, who is one of his inspirations. Jordan Adetunji began his music career by posting rap videos on social media during his school years. He later incorporated guitar elements and played the trumpet, expanding his musical range. His unique blend of styles caught attention on TikTok, leading to a collaboration with Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon and a signing with RCA Records and Sony Music UK in 2023. The following year, Jordan Adetunji released his debut mixtape, Rock 'N' Rave, featuring a mix of Jersey club-inspired dance music and glitch-oriented sounds. On May 19, 2024, he released the single "Khelani," an ode to the American singer, which earned him the title of Billboard's R&B/Hip-Hop "Rookie of the Month." The track was Adetunji's first to chart on the Official Charts, Billboard Hot 100, Canadian Hot 100, and the Billboard Global 200, leading to a record deal with 300 Entertainment and Warner Records UK.
