The Christian singer Josh Baldwin is best known for the Top 10 hits "Evidence" and "Stand in Your Love," the second of which was certified gold in 2018. He was born on July 8, 1979, in Albemarle, North Carolina. Raised by a pastor father, Baldwin launched his own career as a worship leader during the early 2000s, serving as MorningStar Fellowship and appearing on several of the church's album releases. He then made his debut with Changing, which he released independently in 2008. Rivers, his 2014 follow-up, reached Number 44 on the Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. Two years later, Baldwin appeared on Bethel Music's Have It All, a Dove Award-nominated album that reached Number 12 on the Billboard 200 and Number 1 on the Christian & Gospel Albums Chart. His contribution to Have It All helped elevate his own commercial success, and Josh Baldwin reached Number on the Top Christian Albums chart with his next album, The War Is Over. Released in 2017, The War Is Over was followed one year later by another collaboration with Bethel Music. This time, Baldwin joined the band on "Stand in Your Love," which earned its own Dove Award nomination, peaked at Number 7 on the Hot Christian Songs chart, and went gold. Two follow-up singles, "Let the Redeemed" and "Evidence," also cracked the Top 20. Evidence, Baldwin's fourth album as a solo artist, reached Number 41 on the Top Christian Albums chart in 2020, and he launched a new album cycle two years later with the release of his Top 50 single "There Is Freedom". In 2024, the single "Made for More" paved the way to the homonymous live album including a duet with Jenn Johnson.
