Kaname Kawabata

Kaname Kawabata, born on January 28, 1979, is a renowned Japanese musician initially famous as part of the pop duo CHEMISTRY. He began his solo career around 2013, after CHEMISTRY announced a temporary hiatus during their last performance in Okinawa on April 7, 2012, to focus on individual projects. Kawabata ventured into acting, starring in the TV drama "Hungry!" and participating in a reading of "Summer Wars" in June 2012. Kawabata's solo musical endeavors include singles like "Flyin' to the sunrise" and "TOKYO GIRL" with the latter released on October 3, 2012. He made significant strides in his solo career with the release of his album 0 on June 12, 2013, which he supported with an international appearance in Bangkok at the J POP SIGNATURE in BANGKOK event. One of his notable releases as a solo artist includes "Half Moon feat. Masayuki Suzuki"(2014) showcasing his continued influence and evolution in the music scene.
