Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo

Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo, (also known as M&D, derived from Midnight & Dawn or Miari & Dangye-dong), is a South Korean pop-rock duo, formed by SM Entertainment in 2011. Comprising Heechul from Super Junior and Kim Jung-mo from TraxX, they made their debut as M&D with their digital single "Close Ur Mouth" on June 22, 2011, appearing live at Mnet’s 20’s Choice Awards ceremony on July 7. Their initial mini-album, Cottage Industry, featuring the track "I Wish," was digitally released on April 16, 2015, and peaked at number 2 on the charts. In early July 2016, SM Entertainment announced their return to their full names, Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo, unveiling a second mini-album, Goody Bag with the trot-rock lead track "Ulsanbawi" on July 12. The album, featuring six tracks written by Heechul and composed by Jungmo, reached number 5. On April 30, 2019, Jungmo parted ways with SM Entertainment, marking the end of the duo.
